Minerva Santiago Acevedo is an associate in the firm's Coral Gables office. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Political Science, with minors in International Relations and English Writing and Communication, at the University of Puerto Rico- Mayaguez campus, where she graduated magna cum laude. Ms. Santiago Acevedo obtained her Juris Doctor at the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. During her time at the University of Miami School of Law, she received a CALl Award for Legal Writing and Communication, participated in the year-long Immigration Clinic, and was an Articles and Comments Editor for the Inter-American Law Review. In addition, she worked as a research assistant and served as a University of Miami School of Law HOPE Fellow with the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinical Program. She is currently admitted to the Florida Bar. Ms. Santiago Acevedo has prior legal experience in transactional matters, first party property claims, and toxic torts claims. She is fluent in Spanish.
